The South West V Pavilion (unbuilt)
Working layout drawings for the South West V Area dated October 1968 and January 1970 show the presence of a lake and pavilion located in open green space between Passfield Way and Clare Road. A further layout drawing dated January 1971 shows only the presence of the lake. This has also disappeared in the final layout plan.
Thanks to the Pasmore Estate, a near full set of drawings produced by engineer Roy Bolsover in February 1969 have survived. These show that the South West V Pavilion and lake were similar in design to that built in Sunny Blunts.
